I've taken a couple swings at re-styling the Textpattern backend before. While the previous attempts only played with the top tabs, this time around I wanted to delve a little bit deeper and see what would come about if messed with everything. And since creativity loves constraints, I set out to all of this without custom images—CSS only. Emporclo--Emporer's Clothes--because it's "naked" with no images. Actually, I had to put one little image in there just for the background gradient. I employed the border-radius property for both Firefox and Safari to get those rounded-corners on the tabs and buttons. I let this one simmer for a while, so I'd find little details that needed tweaking the more I used it.
