Picked up an old project I originally started 2 years ago. Inspiration first came from a design by the Barcelona design group Lamoca. These patterns are produced by first designing a tile. Each tile is composed of arcs. Using some basic math, I work out how the arcs will line up once rotated. The tiles are then rotated, thus producing a interesting zeitgeist image.
No, that's not a typo. I used "aarc" to avoid any confusion messing with the arc method in Processing.
