Arlington Christmas Party
9 December 06
That was a fun night. Megan, Teenie and Jen throw a Christmas party. We boys start the night out standing in our little circle and end it dancing. Thanks to my man Mike for taking all of these pictures. It's silly how Doyle and Brandon have their own face that they make in every picture.November Reins
30 November 06
Since starting up the daily photo project I've taken a good amount of shots. Some days I'm lucky enough to take two good ones. These are the leftovers from the past month that deserve to be shown. The gang meets up at Massanutten

To compliment the Lake Gaston excursion we did last spring, the boys and girls congregate for the Fall season. Steph's got a room at the ski resort. Mike and I head down Friday night. Party in Forest Hills Manor. Next day, to Sunchase to grill out with ex-1400-er Amander. Dinner at Kyoto. Then staying up till dawn talking. Do other kids do stuff like this? We're the lucky ones.Bigger shot of the boys available here
Halloween 2006
31 October 06
Ain't this a change. This time, I'll buy the candy, and hand it out, still dressed in my clothes from work. Very dissapointed that we only got a handful of trick-or-treaters.Marine Corps 10K for Johnny 5
29 October 06
For more Johnny 5 support, the gang signed up for the Marine Corps Marathon 10K. I was overly anxious the days beforehand. Picking up my bib, I finally realized the whole magnitude of the event. Thirty thousand people running 26.2 miles! Wild. I was just a chump doing the 10k. It was the longest distance I have ever run. I am so glad I did it. Not only was it a great show of support for our number one marine, but the whole experience makes you leave with a positive attitude. Everyone cheering on, running with a mob, getting lost in day. And what a beautiful day to do it. Thanks so much Sara Eppes for keeping pace with me and making it through the end. I guess us boys now need to sign up for the long event!Homecoming 2K6

Housewarming Party
15 October 06
Thanks so much to everyone who made it to the party last night. It gets lonely here in Sterling sometimes, so to fill our house with friends and smiles is a tremendous gift. These shots don't do justice to all the fun that was had. Makes it look like we just stood around and chatted kindly. Nevermind dance-offs, limbo, and a solid thirty minutes of wrestling like tiger cubs.Ri-Ra

Mike and I, both with broken automobiles, were chaufferred to Clarendon for a night on the town care of the sweet Ladies of Quantico. The locale: Ri-Ra.Thank you Regan for taking pretty much all of these shots.
Sterling for sure
24 September 06
The past three weeks have had Mike and me scouring Northern Virginia for a place to live. After two applications fell through we waited out a week and finally landed a delicious house in Sterling. It took a lot of time, money, frustration and patience but it certainly paid off. Being new home owners is quite the challenge as we are now living paycheck to paycheck to fill in all the corners of the house. Can't Catch a Break
11 September 06
It's not like this week was a terrible week. I just had some messy karma or something. Nothing going my way. Housing situation falls through. Don't meet up with John's boys in the city. Put a couple bucks on my Metro card and I get $5.00 worth of quarters back (20 quarters is a lot of weight to be carrying around in your pocket, not to mention all the jangling it produces). Breaking out with zits like its the 10th grade. So no pictures of parties and bars and social gatherings this time. I'm getting tired of setting up shots when I could be chatting with everyone. Instead, you get to see what goes on in my rented out room. When I get back from work, the indian summer sunlight passes through the venetian blinds and covers my room in stripes. The photo opportunity is too easy.
